Remembrance Sunday 2018

2018 marks 100 years since the end of the First World War. The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is leading Government plans to commemorate the First World War Centenary with a range of events and programmes.
On Sunday 11 November -
- the National Service of Remembrance will be held at the Cenotaph on Whitehall, London.
- 10,000 people will march past the Cenotaph on 11 November in ‘A Nation’s Thank you – The People’s Procession’.
- the annual tradition is marked by a two-minute silence at 11am to remember the end of World War I
