How Long is the Course? The NEBDN course lasts approximately one year, consisting of 36 weeks of formal lectures with breaks for Easter, summer, and Christmas.

How Long is Each Class? Classes are held once a week for 2 hours over the course of one year. The course utilises a hybrid/blended mode of study, combining traditional class-based tuition with virtual/livestream learning. Upon enrollment, you’ll select your start date and receive a full timetable with class dates and times.

Who are the Teachers? The course is delivered by a team of dental professionals, including examiners, dentists, and experienced tutors with years of teaching experience in dentistry.

Do I Need Prior Experience? No prior experience is required. The course covers everything you need to know from A to Z.

Do I Get Any Support During the Course? You will receive individual support throughout the course, all the way to graduation. Additionally, free one-on-one lessons are available to students whenever needed during their studies.

What Job Can I Get After the Course? Upon completion, you’ll earn an internationally recognised qualification, enabling you to work as a Dental Nurse in private practices, hospitals, and community dental clinics.

Do I Need a Job Placement for Experience? Yes, you are required to work as a trainee dental nurse for at least 16 hours per week during the course. This assessed work placement is essential for completing your electronic Record of Experience (eRoE). We provide guidance and assistance in finding placements.

How Will I Get a Job as a Trainee Dental Nurse? We offer support with interview techniques and CV preparation. Our dedicated support team and job board feature vacancies for trainee dental nurses. Additionally, we provide a list of private and NHS dental surgeries that frequently contact us when seeking trainee dental nurses.
