LWA Team and our Dental Department invite you to join Free 10km Walk to support Mouth Cancer Research Foundation.

Did you know that over 2,722 lives are lost each year in the UK from mouth cancer and worldwide the disease affects around 650,000 per year?
This is the 17th year of the annual walk and Mouth Cancer Research the only charity walking to raise support and awareness for head and neck cancers anywhere in the world.
It is also an opportunity to celebrate survivorship and raise funds to continue to support patients, carers and survivors coping with mouth cancer.
When –Saturday, 24th September 2022
Arrival Time – 11am
Walk start – 12pm
Where – Bandstand, Hyde Park, London W2 2UH
Online Donations can be done directly to the Mouth Cancer Foundation online at Just Giving.
ON THE DAY
– When you arrive at the bandstand please report to the information tent to sign in and receive your bib number.
– There will be an opportunity to make a donation for T Shirts, however our stock will be limited so it is best to order your T shirt in advance. Our walk t-shirts are available in sizes small, medium, large and extra-large.
– Each t-shirt only costs £7.50, including postage and packing, you can your BUY T-SHIRTS here
– Opportunity to receive a free screening courtesy of Dr Mahesh Kumar and his colleagues at London North West Hospitals NHS Trust
– There are also goodie bags for all participants.
