Huge Thanks to our Dental Nursing students for taking part in Mouth Cancer 10KM Awareness Walk

Mouth Cancer Foundation raised an incredible £25,000 including gift aid and sponsorship during last Mouth Cancer 10KM Awareness Walk 2022.

Thank you all who participated and especially our Dental Nursing learners for taking a part in this event!

The Mouth Cancer Foundation exists to raise awareness and support for mouth cancer. The charity endeavours to promote, protect, educate and support the public. Informing people on the signs, symptoms, risk factors, facts and figures and key causes of mouth cancer is extremely important and something which the charity is very passionate about.

There are over 8700 new cases of mouth cancer in the UK each year. 2722 lives are lost each year. World wide the disease affects 650000 people per year.
