However, you stutter and get your knickers in a twist whenever a native English speaker pops around and says, ‘Hi there! Are you alright, mate?’ Are you sometimes befuddled by colloquial expressions like ‘shall I be mother’ and ‘Bob’s your uncle’? Fear not, for we have just the ‘right trick up our sleeve’!
The new English Forum invites learners to come together and discuss about life, culture, language learning, and current topics. Listen to The Waterloo Podcast® and reflect upon the questions at hand. Be prepared to have your ideas challenged and perfected as you stick by your gun in the virtual classroom! Don’t worry if you’re struggling – the tutor is there to guide and moderate all lessons.
